SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 defeat to top-seed and 10
th-ranked Pepperdine Friday afternoon at the Barnes Tennis Center.
The Dons were overwhelmed from the outset, as Pepperdine's Sebastian Fanselow/Francis Alcantara and Finn Tearney/Alex Sarkissian picked up the doubles point to start the day, marking the second consecutive match the Dons have fallen behind 1-0.
Unlike yesterday, however, USF was not able to mount a rally. The Waves went on to win the first three singles matches to eliminate the Dons.
USF finishes the season with a 14-8 overall record, a nine-win improvement over last year's 5-17 record.
