STANFORD, Calif- USF's women's tennis team completed their third day at the ITA Regional Tournament on Sunday.
Thyra Taune stepped on the court to serve up a win against Jamie Pawid of St. Mary's in two quick sets, 6-1, 6-0.
Andrea Ka and
Marina Nikolic advanced to the quarterfinals after netting a win against St. Mary's Danielle Flores and Kareena Manji, 8-5. In the quarterfinals, Ka and Nikolic faced Maegan Manasse and Denise Starr of California who were seeded number 1 in the tournament. Although they were defeated, 8-5, Ka and Nikolic played a competitive match.
Next for the Dons will be the St. Mary's Invitational on Oct. 24.
