MORAGA, Calif-   USF took to the Korth Tennis Courts at the Gael Classic where  Christian Brockstedt advanced to the quarterfinals.
 
Brockstedt earned his slot in the quarterfinals after a competitive win against Joaquin Marquez of Sacramento State, 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (4) in the round of 32 and dominated his win in the round of 16 against Matt Weeber of Sonoma State, 6-1, 6-0.  Brockstedt will step foot on the courts on Sunday in the quarterfinals against Jesse Ross of UC Davis in the hopes of entering semifinals play.
 
Jason Lee also earned a win against Ivan Parra in two sets, 6-0, 6-4 for the Green and Gold.
 
Doubles and singles play in the main draw and consolation draws for the Classic will continue on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
