The University of San Francisco women's basketball embarks on its final pair of regular season road games, starting with a 6 p.m. matchup with Bay Area rival Saint Mary's.

What 2 Watch 4

The Dons head into Saturday's contest with three players producing at least 10 points per game. Taylor Proctor's 13.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game paces the Dons with Zhané Dikes (12.0 ppg) and Taj Winston (10.4 ppg, 1.7 spg) adding to the USF offense. In the second half of the WCC slate, the Dons are 2-3 facing opponents on the back half of the two-game season series.

Know the Foe - Saint Mary's

Saint Mary's uses a high-octane offense that ranks 26th nationally to stand in third in the WCC. Jackie Nared's 21.6 points per game stands in 20th in NCAA Division I and Danielle Mauldin's rebounding mark of 13.5 boards a night is good for fifth. She has posted 18 double-doubles on the season, good for 10th in the country. As a team, the Gaels shoot 78.7 percent from the free throw line, best in the conference and standing in fifth nationally.

Santa Clara Remix

Despite leading for nearly all the first 39 minutes of action, the visiting Broncos nabbed the lead on a 3-pointer with 24 seconds to play before escaping War Memorial Gym with a 74-73 victory. Taylor Proctor scored a game-high 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting and was helped by Paige Spietz' 16 points and eight rebounds.

On the Horizon

After Thursday's game at Saint Mary's, the Dons play their final road contest of the season against newest WCC foe, Pacific. The Saturday matchup in Stockton is slated to tip at 2 p.m. USF holds a 7-7 record on the season away from the Hilltop.

Dons & Gaels - Take Two

In the first meeting between USF and Saint Mary's, the Dons couldn't keep pace with the hot-handed Gaels. Saint Mary's poured in 55.0 percent of its attempts from the field. Jackie Nared finished with 24 points to lead the Gaels, a scoring mark matched by USF's Taylor Proctor.

Second Time is Sweeter
The Dons have a 2-3 record in the second half of the WCC slate, knocking off Portland on the road and then taking care of San Diego at War Memorial Gym. In the victory over the Toreros, the Dons posted their first home halftime lead of the season. The last time USF led at the break was in a win at Pepperdine Jan. 4.

Peaking Spietz
Since USF's victory at Portland, Paige Spietz has been averaging 14.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per night. The redshirt junior from Brimfield, Ill., has started all but one game for the Dons and has controlled the opening tip in 16 of her 24 starts (66.7 percent).
