SANTA ANA, Calif. -- USF's women's golf team shot a final round 310 (+22) on Tuesday to finish 10th at the UC Irvine Invitational which was held at the Santa Ana Country Club.
The Dons' final round of 310 followed a pair of 309s posted over the first and second rounds on Monday.
Stanford won the team title with a 54-hole score of 864 (E), claiming a 13-stroke victory over Texas A&M (877).
Mariah Stackhouse of Stanford won medalist honors with a 4-under score of 212. Stackhouse shot a final round 73 and held off a hard-charging Grace Na of Pepperdine, who finished two shots behind after carding a 1-under 71 over her final 18 holes.
Alison Lillie was USF's top finisher, tying for 24th place at 229 (+13). The freshman had one birdie en route to a final round 77.
Sophomore Emelie Lundstrom tied for 39th at 234 (+18) after shooting a 79 on Tuesday.
Freshman Ayaka Suzuki carded a 78 and tied for 41st at 19-over 235.
Sophomore Clare Sorensen turned in the team's best round of the day, finishing with a 76. She tied for 44th plaec with a 20-over score of 236.
Senior Peppiina Kaija tied for 55th at 239 (+23) after shooting a final round 80.
The Dons will join the field at the Juli Inkster Invitational, which gets underway on Monday, March 3 at Almaden Country Club in San Jose.
