Just the Facts, Ma'am
The University of San Francisco women's basketball closes out its regular-season slate with a pair of games at War Memorial Gym in the final week of the season. Thursday, the Dons will be looking for their fourth-straight win against the Waves, on "REPRESENT" night.
What 2 Watch 4
The Dons head into Thursday's contest with three players producing at least 10 points per game. Taylor Proctor's 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game paces the Dons with Zhané Dikes (12.0 ppg), and Taj Winston (10.9 ppg, 1.7 spg) adding to the USF offense. USF is seeking its first regular-season sweep of Pepperdine since 2006-07.
Know the Foe - Pepperdine
Bria Richardson, likely out for the remainder of the season, has team-leading averages of 16.9 points, 2.6 steals and 3.6 assists. Other statistical leaders include Keitra Wallace (12.7 ppg), Allie Green (11.4 ppg) and Ea Shoustari (11.0 ppg, 6.9 rpg).Pepperdine is under the direction of first year head coach, Ryan Weisenberg.

The Dons were paced by 17 points and six rebounds by junior Taj Winston and a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double from Taylor Proctor. The double-double was the third of the season for the sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colo.
On the Horizon
USF will honor its lone senior on the squad, Alexa Hardick, as the Dons close out the regular season against Loyola Marymount Saturday at 2 p.m.
Then, the Dons will head to the WCC Championships in Las Vegas, again hosted at the Orleans Arena, with women's action beginning March 6 and tournament play concluding March 11. |

The Dons are currently in ninth in the league standings with two games remaining. USF has to win at least one game to vie for eighth seed.
Should the Dons win out and Santa Clara drops both games against the Waves and Lions, USF has the opportunity to leap to seventh. Entering the week, the only known tournament seed is Pepperdine (10).

In the first meeting of the season between USF and Pepperdine, the Dons got a then-career-high 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting from Taylor Proctor, and Taj Winston posted a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double at Firestone Fieldhouse. Rachel Howar and Paige Spietz also notched double-digit scoring outings in USF's 77-61 victory.
