SAN FRANCISCO—Sophomore Leticia Torres has kept herself busy in the offseason as she helped the Chilean national team reach the final of the South American Cup this week.
 
Her team beat Argentina and Bolivia before taking on Venezuela in the semifinals, which it won in penalty kicks after a 0-0 result in regulation. Chile met Argentina again in the final but could not come ut on top.
 
Torres and the rest of the USF women's soccer team will return to action on Mar. 26 against Sonoma State.
