In the game against the Broncos, Loyola Marymount was paced by 24 points on 9-of-10 shooting from Leslie Lopez-Wood. She stands as one of five Lions to average double-digit scoring on the season (Johnson - 13.2, Anderson - 11.8, Lopez-Wood - 11.1, Ben-Jumbo - 10.5, Taylor - 10.2).

USF & Loyola Marymount - The Series
After taking three wins from the Lions a year ago, San Francisco holds the slight 34-33 advantage in the all-time series.
In the last meeting between the two squads, Taj Winston's offensive rebound and putback gave USF the first round win at the WCC Championships by a final score of 63-62, the second one-point game between the two in the season's three meetings.

Last Time Out
Led by a career night from senior Paige Spietz, the San Francisco women's basketball team posted a 69-58 victory over Pepperdine Thursday night at Firestone Fieldhouse.

Spietz turned in a banner night of 24 points of 10-of-13 shooting from the floor, eight rebounds, a block and an assist. Her point tally represents a new career high for the senior from Brimfield, Ill. Taylor Proctor posted 13 points – her 11th consecutive double-digit outing – five rebounds, game-highs of five assists and three steals. Senior Taj Winston added 13 points and three assists, and finished 9-for-12 from the free throw line.
