Final Team and Individual Results
TARZANA, Calif. -- USF's women's golf team finished 13th in the 15-team Bruin-Wave Invitational, which wrapped up today at the E, Caballero Country Club in Tarzana.
The Dons posted a final round 320 to finish at 947 (+83) for the 54-hole event. USF finished nine strokes ahead of New Mexico and were 20 strokes clear of 15th place Georgia.
Third-ranked Washington won the team event with a score of 890 (+26), good for an nine-stroke win over No. 5 UCLA, which finished at 899.
Erynne Lee of UCLA shot a final round 70 to overtake Anica Yoo of Oregon State to capture medalist honors. Lee finished at even par 216 for the event, five strokes clear of Yoo and Sirene Blair of San Diego State.
Vanessa Ha was USF's top finisher, tying for 33rd place with a 16-over score of 232. The freshman made two late birdies and finished with a 75 on Tuesday.
Ayaka Suzuki followed an opening round 72 with scores of 80 and 82 to finish tied for 40th at 234.
Alison Lillie, who shot a second round 74, managed a 82 on Tuesday and finished tied for 56th at 239 (+23).
Emelie Lundstrom (242) shot a final round 81 and tied for 62nd at 242.
Junior Clare Sorensen did not complete her final round.
USF will return to action next Monday, as the Dons co-host the Bay Area Intercollegiate with San Jose State at the Meadow Club in Fairfax.
