MALIBU, Calif. - The University of San Francisco's women's tennis team fell to nationally ranked No. 15 Pepperdine Friday afternoon at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.
The Dons are now 8-7 overall and 3-2 in the West Coast Conference. Three of their conference wins coming from BYU, Santa Clara and San Diego.
With the Waves taking the doubles point, the Dons looked to singles action in pursuit to gain momentum.

Andrea Ka showed her tenacity as she played out an intensive two set match against Lorraine Guillermo who is ranked tenth Nationally by the ITA. Ka just missed the mark, falling 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
Marina Nikolic also had No. 95 Apichaya Runglerdkriangkrai work to earn her win in singles action, taking Runglerdkriangkrai to a competitive second set, 6-3, 7-5.
The Dons will return to WCC action tomorrow, Saturday as they head to Los Angeles to face Loyola Marymount at 1:30 pm.
