NEW ORLEANS – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country team had a program best six runners earn U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors for the 2017 NCAA Division I Cross Country season.

The women had four runners earn All-Region honors, a program best. After her individual West Region title,
Charlotte Taylor added her third consecutive all-region honor to her list of accolades, finishing the race with a time of 19:14.2.

Joining Taylor on the all-region team are fellow USF runners
Weronika Pyzik,
Isabelle Brauer and
Marie Bouchard, who finished the race in fourth, seventh and 16
th, respectively. For Pyzik and Bouchard, this is their second all-region team honor in their time at USF, with Pyzik earning honors in 2015 and Bouchard in 2016. For Brauer, this is the sophomore's first all-region team honor.

For the men, newcomers
Jacob Allen and
Jack Rowe earned all-region honors finishing 17
th and 19
th, respectively. Allen set the pace for the Dons at the regionals, finishing the 10k race with a time of 29:53.4. Rowe finished just behind Allen with a time of 29:53.9.

The women will head to Louisville, Ky. to compete in the NCAA National Championships on Nov. 18.
