THIS WEEK'S GAMES
The Dons (13-12, 8-6 WCC) will have a tough two games ahead of them, facing two top-four WCC teams in Saint Mary's (16-9, 9-5) and Loyola Marymount (16-9, 8-6). The Dons currently sit in fifth place in the conference, with the Lions one spot ahead in fourth and the Gaels seated right behind league leaders Gonzaga.

Coach Goodenbour's squad is hitting stride right now, at the perfect time to close out the season and take on some of their stiffest competition. They most recently took down the BYU Cougars, currently ranked third in the WCC, in a double-overtime victory last Saturday. In the win, Michaela Rakova recorded her second 20/20 performance of the season and her 12th double-double. Anna Seilund contributed 21 points, her seventh consecutive game adding 10-plus points. The victory also marked the Dons third-straight W, the longest streak of the season for USF.

Looking at the competition, Saint Mary's most recently took down previously undefeated Gonzaga. The Lions fell to Pepperdine, 85-74, last Saturday.

USF is tops in the WCC in three-pointers (7.0) and second in defensive rebounding (28.3). Senior guard Anna Seilund (15.3 ppg) leads three Dons scoring in double digits and senior forward Michaela Rakova (13.0 ppg, 9.3 rpg) is the team's top rebounder.

THE SERIES
In their first match up against the Gaels on Feb. 1, the Dons were taken down, 73-59. USF is behind in the all-time series 25-44. The Dons were 0-2 against the Gaels in the 2016-17 campaign.

The Lions played at San Francisco on Jan 11, suffering a 78-60 loss to the Dons. USF leads the all-time series 45-33. Last year the Dons dominated, sweeping LMU in their three meetings. The Dons took down the Lions, 80-67, in the first game of the WCC Championships in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. to cap off a 3-0 season against the LMU.
