SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco women's indoor track and field team had seven athletes named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Academic Team following the 2018 indoor campaign.
The group was lead by
Asaundra Dalton who boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA. Just behind her were
Kelsey Nielsen (3.96),
Frederique Latraverse (3.92) and
Marie Bouchard (3.85)
Joining the other four on the all-academic team were
Alia Mahuna (3.80),
Magdalena Dias (3.72), and
Emma Stahr (3.31) all earned All-Academic team standing.
To qualify for the MPSF All-Academic team, athletes must have at least a 3.00 GPA, competed in at least half of USF's scheduled contests, and be at least a sophomore academically.
Up next, the Dons will head to Los Angeles to compete in the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational on Saturday, April 14.
