SAN FRANCISCO — The University of San Francisco men's soccer team will finish off its non-conference play on the road against Cal State Fullerton on Saturday at the Titan Stadium before taking on West Coast Conference foe San Diego on Oct. 7.

LAST TIME OUT
UC Irvine defeated the Dons by scoring two goals in the first half at the 5th and 21st minute both scored by Anteaters's Jose Soto. In the second half UC Irvine added two more shots on the board in a matter of fifteen minutes as both of those goals were scored from the top of the box. The Dons were able to sneak in a shot at the 85th mark by Santiago Sarmiento before the match ended with the 4-1 victory by the Anteaters. On Sunday, the Hornets and the Dons made it interesting just minutes before the end of the match, when Sandro Bradara equalized the game, 2-2 with just 82 seconds left in the regulation. Matt Orr sent a free kick into the box from near the sideline as it banged off of two Sacramento State players before finding Bradara who tapped it into the net. Heading into the first overtime, the Hornets won on the golden goal at the 94th minute after the Dons cleared out a corner kick and the Hornets sent it back in with a long pass from the 38-yard mark. Hornets' Brad Bumgarner bodied the ball to settle it, where it rolled to Benji Kikanovic for the 20-yard strike to defeat the Dons, 3-2.
