STANFORD, Calif. – Two first half goals scored less than 30 seconds apart were the difference as the University of San Francisco men's soccer team fell to No. 5 Stanford 2-0 at Cagan Stadium on Wednesday night.
"It's always disappointing when you don't get a result but I thought our guys went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the country," said head coach
Leonard Griffin. "I'm proud of the teams' competitiveness until the very end. We will look to build on the positives from this match as we prepare for another tough team on Saturday."
HOW IT HAPPENED
