20944Krimili was selected for the All-Tournament Team in the Greek U18 league, announced Thursday. She was also named this year's Most Improved Player in the Greek senior league, A1. Her team, PAOK, finished runner-up to the league champion Olympiacos, a well-renowned club in the EuroBasket circles.

Krimili was named to the A1 League's all-domestic team this season after appearing in 22 games for PAOK and averaging 6.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. She shot 44.6% from the floor, 30.6% from 3-point range and 76.9% from the free-throw line. This, again, in the top senior league in her home country of Greece, playing with and against the country's best players as a U18 player.

While playing for her U18 Greek national team, Krimili averaged 14.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 3.5 apg. Greece finished 11th at the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship, Division B, last August, with Krimili posting two 20-point games (vs. Bulgaria, vs. Lithuania) and averaging over 30 minutes per contest.

USF Head Coach Molly Goodenbour on Ioanna Krimili

"We are very excited to bring Ioanna to USF. She competes at a high level on her Greek teams and will bring poise, skill, and shooting to our point guard position. She has the ability to play both the point and wing and has a level of maturity that will allow her to transition well to the college game."
