TRI | Dons Add Noga Gottlieb For 2021

SAN FRANCISCO – University of San Francisco women's triathlon head coach Gina Kehr continues to build a stellar program.  The second-year head coach is pleased to announce the signing of Noga Gottlieb (Haifa, Israel/Israeli National Sport Academy) to a National Letter of Intent.

"I'm very excited to bring Noga onto our squad," said Kehr. "She comes with high level experience, strong work ethic and an attitude readiness that we strongly value on the team. I look forward to starting to work with her in January as we build for fall 2021."

Gottlieb becomes the third official member of this year's signing class for USF's newest program. She has an extensive history competing in triathlon which includes competing for the Israeli National Team since 2018.

The native of Haifa, Israel was the 2018 Israel National Junior runner-up and part of the relay national champions in 2018 and 2019.  She has raced all over the world, including the European Juniors Cup Series since 2017 with four top-20 finishes.  She took seventh in Ukraine, 13th in Spain, 14th in Latvia and 15th in Serbia.

She was a two-time qualifier for the European Championship for youth and juniors.  In 2019 she finished 39th in the Weert Junior European Championship.

Gottlieb will arrive on campus in January of 2021.
