RENO, Nev. – Aiming to repeat their early season success, the University of San Francisco men's golf team will travel to Reno to begin the week as they compete in the Wolfpack Classic (hosted by the University of Nevada) at Hidden Valley Country Club.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• Last time out, the Dons impressed in their season-opening tournament by finishing in second at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on Sept. 27 + 28. Notably, USF tied Utah with a 36-under-828 team total, which marked the second-best team score by any program in the eleven years of the event. Overall, it also marked the sixth consecutive tournament the Dons have finished in the top three, dating back to the Orange County Collegiate Classic (hosted by Cal State Fullerton) on Feb. 8 & 9, 2021.
• Individually, three Dons placed in the final top twenty at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational: Alex Chin (tied for 12^th, 9-under-207), Soren Lind (tied for 20^th, 8-under-208) and Matthew Anderson (tied for 20^th, 8-under-208). Rounding out the group, Toby Briggs tied for 30^th after shooting a total of 5-under-211 while Christoffer Palsson finished tied for 54^th after shooting an even-216 across the three rounds.
• Looking ahead, the Wolfpack Classic marks the first of two events in October for USF as the Dons are also scheduled to compete in the White Sands Invitational (hosted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock) in Nassau, Bahamas from Oct. 29-31.
