The Dons
This will be USF's first competition since the 2020 spring season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. San Francisco competed in seven tournaments in 2019-20 and finished among the top-10 in all but one. The Dons finished the season with a team average of 299.6. It marked the second time in head coach
Sara Doell's tenure that the Dons averaged under 300 as a team. USF will start
Annika Borrelli,
Pearl Rojanapeansatith,
Joan Soewondo,
Hannah Zeman and
Toni Sottile – all returners from last year's team.
Â
From the Desk of Sara Doell
"We played a solid practice round (Sunday) and the team looks great. It has been almost a year since we have competed as a team and they are pumped and ready to go.
Â
"This golf course is a very fair test of golf with big fairways and undulated greens that are often protected by bunkers. We'll need to be accurate and consistent from the start this week.
Â
"We are grateful to be back out on the course again and are excited to see what the season has in store."
