Women's Golf Treks South for Fresno State Classic

FRESNO, Calif. – Aiming to continue their momentum on the course, the University of San Francisco women's golf team will begin their week by competing at the Fresno State Classic at Belmont Country Club in Fresno on Monday and Tuesday.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

Playing well so far as a team, USF has finished in the top five as a group three times this spring as the Dons have climbed up to No. 65 in GolfStat's NCAA Team Rankings heading into Monday.
Last time out, USF finished fourth overall at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational as the Dons shot 7-over-871 across their three rounds. Notably, freshman standout Riana Mission tallied her fourth top ten finish of the year while teammate Hannah Zeman notched her second top ten finish. Overall, USF finished above six teams who were ranked, three of which were in the top 50 at the time.
Looking ahead, the Dons will participate in the Fresno State Classic and the Chambers Bay Invitational (hosted by University of Washington) on Apr. 11 + 12 before making the trip to Henderson, Nev. for the West Coast Conference Championships from Apr. 21-23.
