PARAMUS, N.J.  – Matthew Anderson, a four-time letter winner on the University of San Francisco men's golf team, continued his successful summer by qualifying for the round of 64 at the 122^nd U.S. Amateur on Tuesday.
 
After an opening round of 75 at The Ridgewood Country Club, the graduate senior fired back with a purpose by notching a 69 today at Aricola Country Club for a T30 finish at +3. Out of a field of 312 players at one of the biggest amateur events in the world, Anderson was 1 of 20 that was under-par for the day.
 
Fans can tune in to watch Anderson in his next round of action on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 1:00-3:00 pm on The Golf Channel as the station will bring the action live from Paramus. Live scoring will also be available via usga.org.
