BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - The University of San Francisco men's golf team saw impressive performances from its underclassmen at Point O'Woods Golf & Country Club as the Dons finished ninth overall at the inaugural Jim DeLapa Collegiate Invitational.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Henry Styles and Nils Svanberg shined for San Francisco across the first two rounds, with Styles tying for 16th at 1-under and Svanberg tying for 19th at even-par heading into the final round.
- Theo Anderson broke out in just his second collegiate tournament, opening play by firing a 65 across his first eighteen holes.
- Making his debut for the green and gold, Svanberg would go on to be the top finished for the Dons, tying for 19th at even-par-210 (70-70-70). Close behind, Styles finished in a tie for 24th at 1-over-211 (70-69-72).
- Anderson finished two strokes behind Styles in the final standings, tying for 32nd overall at 3-over-213 (65-76-72). Renato Naula was one stroke off Anderson, tying for 34th overall at 4-over-214 (71-74-69).
- Svante Palmgren rounded out the lineup, tying for 61st overall at 14-over-224 (78-74-72).

San Francisco will participate in its final tournament of the fall at the Saint Mary's Invitational at Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside from Monday, Oct. 20 through Wednesday, Oct. 22. Live results will be available via theÂ
