CATCHING UP WITH COACH MILLINDER:
"It was a good win, we were solid and we took care of the ball well. A lot of players played well and we were able to play everyone tonight. That was my first hat trick that I've been involved with here at USF and it was great for Marissa to get her season started. It was great for Lindsey to get in there and get her first collegiate goal in her first game here. All in all, it was a great performance from our team and we look forward to facing Oregon next."
CATCHING UP WITH COACH NIJJAR:
"We dominated the ball and got stronger as the game went on. Following the red card we took over the match and asserted ourselves as shown in the scoreboard. We'll need to play a different shape against Oregon to have success and we look forward to that challenge on Sunday."
UP NEXT:
The Dons will now travel southwest to Eugene for a matchup with the Oregon Ducks (1-0) at Papé Field on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. USF hosted the Ducks last season at Negoesco Stadium in a match that ended in a 2-all tie with
Kenna Roth scoring both USF goals on the Hilltop.
