SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Following a top three finish in the West Coast Conference and a second consecutive appearance in the WNIT last season, the University of San Francisco women's basketball team unveiled their 2022-23 WCC schedule for the upcoming season on Tuesday morning.

Adding a new wrinkle to the upcoming season, seventh year head coach Molly Goodenbour and the Dons will begin conference action in mid-December as USF will host the Loyola Marymount Lions at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center on Saturday, December 17 to start league play. The remainder of the conference schedule will follow the typical path of wrapping up at the end of February. 

In total, the conference slate will be composed of 18 games, with the Dons playing all nine WCC schools both at home and on the road. Last season, USF finished 17-16 overall and 10-8 in conference play as the green and gold earned the third overall seed at the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas. For the second straight year, the Dons reached the semifinal round of the tournament after taking down Santa Clara, 72-63, in the quarterfinal round. 

Notably, USF will wrap up their home schedule on Saturday, Feb. 18 when they host reigning WCC regular season champion BYU.

Tip-off times and television partners for the 2022-23 season will be announced a later date.
