MOSCOW, Idaho -- With a new year upon us, the USF Dons indoor track and field team is back to work this weekend up north in Idaho as they will be competing in the 2023 Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open this weekend beginning on Friday.
Participating schools from around the west will be making their way to western Idaho as Utah, Washington State, Montana, Eastern Washington and UC Riverside will be competing this weekend.
USF will have 14 student-athletes participating this weekend in various events, including: 60 meter run, 200 meter run, 1,000 meter run, 3,000 meter run and the 4x4 relay in Moscow.
The Dons are coming off a season that included four student-athletes competing at the 2022 NCAA Track and Field West Preliminaries in Arkansas with
Abby Pradere,
Ruby Smee and
Baneet Bains all earning that honor a year ago.
