MOSCOW, Idaho -- Competing for the first time during the 2023 season, the USF Dons indoor track and field team headed north to compete at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open at the University of Idaho on Friday and Saturday.
Opening up the competition on Friday,
Julia Morales had a second place finish in her heat with a time of 2:56.72 while both
Kamilla Vanadzina and
Laurel Froehlich were anle to make their Dons' debut running in the same event.
Turning the page to Saturday,
Sophia Priester-Veasley and
Abby Pradere both led the way for the Dons in their races as each was able to come away with a top 10 finish in the 60 yard dash and the 3,000 meter run respectively.
