DONS AT A GLANCE:

• Last week, the women's program traveled to South Bend, Ind., and earned a 14th-place finish at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
• Yasmine Abbes led the way for the Dons in the 5,000-meter race, nearly breaking her previous best, crossing the finish line in 25th place with a time of 17:06.0. 
• Natalie Hlusi shined for the Dons in her second race of the season, earning a personal best time of 17:34.1 with a 50th-place finish.
