MORAGA/STOCKTON, Calif. -- With only three weeks left in the WCC basketball regular season, the USF Dons women's basketball team (15-9, 5-7) are back on the road this week as they will head east to take on the Saint Mary's Gaels (11-13, 5-8) on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and will then head to the Central Valley to face the Pacific Tigers (10-14, 5-8) on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 4:00 p.m.
USF will be looking to avenge last month's close loss to the Gaels on their home floor as well as seeking the season sweep over the Tigers as they defeated UOP by a 91-80 margin on January 12. Redshirt junior
Ioanna Krimili has been a force for the Dons throughout the season as she currently second in the WCC scoring 17.6 PPG while shooting 46% from the field and an impressive 43% from three point range.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- USF is looking to get back on track this week as they dropped both games last week at home to Portland and #20 Gonzaga who both sit tied for first in the conference standings.
- The Dons have continued to receive tremendous scoring off their bench this season, as senior Jasmine Gayles has scored in double figures in four consecutive games with a season average of 11.2 PPG as she's shot 36% from three point range in WCC action.
- As a team, USF has continued to put together a tremendous effort on the glass currently ranking second in the conference by bringing down 39 rebounds per game this season ranking just behind Pepperdine.
- In USF's victory over Pacific earlier this season, Krimili had a standout performance in the victory scoring 30 points as she shot 7-for-8 from three point distance as the Dons knocked down a new program record 16 shots from beyond the arc in the win at War Memorial.
SCOUTING THE GAELS:
- The Gaels head into Thursday night's game trying to get back on track as they've dropped five of their last six games since defeating USF on the Hilltop.
- Saint Mary's has been led this season by the great front court play from forward Ali Bamberger who is averaging 14.3 PPG which ranks ninth in the WCC while also currently posting the second highest rebounds per game in the league with 8.1 boards this season.
- Struggling on both sides of the ball of late, the Gaels currently rank eighth in the conference in both points per game scored and allowed this season.
- In the first between the two teams in San Francisco, Bamberger excelled scoring 22 points on 9-of-9 shooting from the field while also grabbing 11 rebounds for her team.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
- UOP enters Saturday's game playing good basketball of late as they've won three straight games defeating BYU at home and sweeping the LA schools on the road last week.
- The Tigers' offense has been clicking for most of the season ranking fifth in the league scoring 69.4 PPG this season, but have struggled on the other end of the floor allowing a league-high 70.4 PPG during the 2022-23 season.
- Pacific's leading scorer this season has been the play from guard Liz Smith as she's scored 14.2 PPG this season while being a force from beyond the arc ranking fifth in the WCC shooting 42.3% from three-point range.
- In the team's first meeting with the Dons this season, guard Sam Ashby had a strong performance against USF as she scored 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting and secured seven rebounds for her team in the loss.
