LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Back in the postseason for the third straight year, the University of San Francisco men's golf team is hungry to keep their recent momentum rolling as the Dons will compete as the No. 8 seed in the Las Vegas Regional of the 2023 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Tournament to begin the week.

• Back in the postseason for the third straight year, USF will aim to advance to the national championship round of the 2023 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Tournament for the first time since 2021, when the Dons made the final round for the first time in program history. Last year, the green and gold tied for sixth overall (14-over-886) in the Columbus Regional (hosted by Ohio State).
• Familiar to the stage, Matthew Anderson will compete in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in Las Vegas. In 2021, the Canadian tied for 22^nd at the Cle Elum Regional before tying for 7^th overall at the Columbus Regional in 2022. Heating up at the right time, Anderson tallied three top ten finishes for the Dons to wrap up the regular season and WCC Tournament, including finishing tying for third overall at the WCC Championship at Gold Mountain Golf Club to end the month of April.
• Fresh off of an impressive debut season for the USF, Jakob Melin, the WCC's 2023 Freshman of the Year, will experience his first taste of postseason play. So far, Melin's top finish came at the Howard/USF Intercollegiate last fall when he tied Anderson for second place overall to help the Dons secure the team title.
