SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Highlighted by three runners on the women's side, the University of San Francisco cross country program competed in the San Francisco State Invitational Friday afternoon at Golden Gate Park.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Lily Mourer led the way for the Dons, finishing in the top half of the field with a 39th-place finish out of 102 competitors. In her second meet of the season, Mourer nearly set a new season best as she concluded the 6000 meters with a time of 23:32.4.
- Marlee Kwasnica followed 10 spots behind Mourer, crossing the finish line in 49th at 23:59.3. Surpassing her previous season best set at the Pacific Collegiate Invitational on September 20, Kwasnica nearly beat the time of 24:26.1 by a minute.
- Katelyn Vuong, the final runner for the Dons, earned a 63rd-place finish with a time of 24:50.6.
