Women's Golf Set to Travel to the Midwest to Compete in The Marilyn Smith Invitational

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team continues its fall slate when it travels to participate in The Marilyn Smith Invitational, hosted by Kansas, on Monday, Oct. 7 – Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Lawrence Golf Club.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- For the second consecutive tournament, Riana Mission earned an individual title, finishing in a tie for first place out of 65 competitors at The Molly last week. Mission concluded the two-day event with a seven-under-par 209, setting the tone in the opening round with a six-under-par 66.
- Mission's success at The Molly marked the fourth time she has earned an individual title, grabbing first at the Leadership and Golf Invitational this season, The Clash at Boulder Creek in 2023-24, and The Valley Invitational in 2022-23.
- Eva Pett followed in a tie for 22nd place with a seven-over-par 223, while Jolie Chee grabbed a share of 33rd at 12-over-par 228.
- In her first collegiate action, Jillian Leh finished in 62nd place after shooting a 28-over-par 244. Leh totaled three birdies throughout the tournament, with two coming in the second round.
