LODI, Calif. – The University of San Francisco cross country program enters postseason play when it competes in the West Coast Conference Championships, hosted by the league, on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Micke Grove Golf Course.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• San Francisco earned top-10 finishes on the men's and women's sides as the program competed in the Bronco Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19. The women, led by Katharina Goetschl and Natálie Hluší, posted a third-place finish while the men placed eighth.
• In the 6000 meters, Goetschl paced the Dons with a sixth-place finish, setting a new personal-best time of 20:37.4, while Hluší grabbed eighth at 20:49.2.
• On the men's side, Zach Elam guided the men's team in the 8000 meters with his second top-10 finish of the season, crossing in fifth place out of 139 competitors. His time of 23:58.1 surpassed his previous season-best of 24:43.7 set at the USF Invitational.
• Ethan O'Shea achieved his second top-20 individual finish of the season, crossing the finish line in 16th with a new personal best time of 24:35.7.
• Last season, the men's and women's programs earned top-five finishes at the WCC Championships, placing fifth and fourth, respectively. Individually, Hluší earned WCC Second Team All-Conference honors as she crossed the finish line in 11th place with a time of 22:00.0 at Alumni Park in Malibu.
