COLFAX, Wash. – The University of San Francisco cross country program concluded the 2024 season at the NCAA West Regional Friday morning at Colfax Golf Club.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- As a team, the women's program grabbed 19th place, finishing with 571 points.
- Katharina Goetschl was the top finisher for the women, earning a 55th-place finish out of 262 competitors. Goetschl's time of 20:48.2 came 10.8 short of her personal in the 6000 meters set earlier this season at the Bronco Invitational.
- In the final event of her first collegiate season, Poppy Martin finished in 105th at 21:34.7, while Natálie Hluší followed behind in 108th at 21:38.2.
- On the men's side, the team took home 24th with 702 points while competing in the 10000 meters. Ellis McKean, in his first-ever 10k, led the team with a 108th-place finish at 31:35.5 while Ethan O'Shea and Zach Elam followed in 113th and 118th, respectively.
