SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Closing out a four-game homestand, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (8-2) defended its home court on Wednesday night to remain perfect at home as the Dons defeated Stanislaus State (4-5, 1-2 CCAA), 68-52, at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

- Coming out of the break, a pair of made free throws from Jones put the Warriors in front, 39-35 at 17:16. Punching back, San Francisco answered by piecing together an 8-0 run to take a 43-39 advantage, which was capped off by a breakaway slam from Tyrone Riley IV at 15:21.
- Not relinquishing their lead for the rest of the contest, a driving layup from James O'Donnell at 10:37 helped the Dons keep control, 53-44. Less than two minutes later, a jumper from Jason-Rivera Torres made it a ten-point game, 55-45.
- Converting from beyond-the-arc, back-to-back triples from Newbury and Carlton Linguard Jr. put the green and gold up 14 points, 63-49, with 6:00 left in regulation.
- Wrapping up the night, buckets from Newbury and O'Donnell closed out the game for San Francisco as the Dons held on to secure a 68-52 victory over Stanislaus State.
