Women's Golf Kicks Off 2024 at San Diego State Classic

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team returns to action as it kicks off the spring portion of the 2023-24 season in the San Diego State Classic at The Farms Golf Club.
The two-day tournament begins with a shotgun start for the first round at 8 a.m., followed by the second round on Monday, Feb. 12. The event concludes on Tuesday, Feb. 13, with the final round starting at 8 a.m.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- San Francisco is coming off a successful fall campaign, earning four top-10 team finishes while concluding with a second-place finish at The Clash at Boulder Creek on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
- Riana Mission, earning the top spot in a tournament for the second time in her career, tied a career best of 11-under-par 205 (69-67-69) and finished her first-ever tournament shooting under 70 in every round.
- Mission finished the fall with two top-five individual finishes, earning the individual title at The Clash at Boulder Creek and a fourth-place finish in the Leadership and Golf Invitational in the season's opening tournament.
- Eva Pett shined throughout the first half of the season, earning three top-10 individual finishes, highlighted by grabbing a second place at the Coeur D'Alene Invite on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
