Dons Earn Third-Place Finish at Aggie Open

DAVIS, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's track & field team had a strong showing at the Aggie Open, earning a third-place team finish with 75 total points Saturday morning at Woody Wilson Track.
 
Natalie Hlusi shined in the one-mile run, taking first place out of 44 competitors. Hlusi, who finished just 22 seconds of second-place finisher Gillian Meeks, set a new personal best in the event with a time of 4:45.82.
 
In the sprints, Olivia Alexandre earned a first-place finish in the 400 meters, setting a new personal best of 55.54 seconds. Alexandre picked up her first-ever podium spot in the event and smashed her previous best time of 57.29 set at the Cardinal Classic in 2023 by over two seconds.
 
Tatumn LaChapelle guided the Dons to another first-place finish later on in the 200 meters with a personal best 25.70 seconds.
