BERKELEY, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's track & field teams set personal bests and broke program records Saturday morning at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational.
Olivia Alexandre continued to have success in the 400-meter hurdles this season, lowering her program record to 58.25 seconds while earning a first-place finish out of 25 competitors.
Noa Grochowski,
Tatumn LaChapelle,
Sophia Priester-Veasley, and Lucia Gifford-Groves set a new program record in the 4 x 100-meter relay, earning a seventh-place finish at 47.41 seconds. The group outpaced the team of Asaundra Dalton, Kamilah Davis, Lupe Medina, and Eleni Fkiaras set during the 2014 season.
On the men's side,
Trevor Deane and
Carter Lewis competed in the 800 meters, finishing in sixth and 16th, respectively.
