SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country programs open the 2024 season at home when it hosts the 31st annual USF Invitational on Friday, Aug. 30, at Golden Gate Park.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• San Francisco is coming off a successful 2023 season, as the men and women earned top-five finishes in the West Coast Conference Championships. Nátalie Hluší led the women's program a season ago, as she recorded her fastest 6000 meters of the season to take 11th place and earn All-WCC Second Team honors.
• Grace Copeland and Hluší paced the Dons last season at the USF Invitational, earning sixth and 13th place, respectively. Copeland led the pack in her first-ever race at Golden Gate Park, finishing with a time of 20:53.8, 41.7 seconds off her career-best in the 6000 meters set in 2022.
• In her first action on the Hilltop following a one-year stint at BYU, Hluší grabbed a top-15 finish last season as she crossed the finish line in 13th place at 21:13.2.
• Daniel Abramowicz led the men's side as the top returner from last season's meet, finishing with a time of 25:08.7 for 34th place in the 8000 meters.
