TROUTMAN, N.C. - The University of San Francisco (USF) triathlon team saw three Dons place in the top ten at the East Regional Champions on Saturday, helping USF to a third-place finish.
RACE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Josi Seerig shone for San Francisco, finishing second out of all participants with a time of 1:03:18. Kjarra Reckmann was right on her heels, finishing third one second later at 1:03:19.
- Maite Kuestner also recorded a top ten finish for the Dons, placing 10th overall with a time of 1:04:25.
- Ava Smith finished 33rd overall with a time of 1:06:58, while Heidi Henry was close behind, finishing 35th overall with a time of 1:07:14.
- Rounding out the group, Maisie Gibbins finished 43rd at 1:08:41, Abigail Lotz finished 48th at 1:09:47, Sara Kos finished 58th at 1:12:32, and MacKenzie MacLean finished 67th at 1:14:38.

UP NEXT:
San Francisco will head back to familiar territory for its final race of the season as the Dons will suit up for the Women's Triathlon Collegiate National Championships in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday, Nov. 8.
