FRUITA, Colo. - The University of San Francisco triathlon team showed outs in its second race of the season as the Dons finished third overall at Desert's Edge Triathlon on Saturday morning.

RACE HIGHLIGHTS:

• Josi Seerig shined in her 2025 debut for San Francisco as the junior was the top finisher for the Dons, coming in at sixth place overall with 295 points.
• Maite Kuestner also impressed in her first race for USF this fall, finishing ninth overall with 283 points.
• Kjara Reckmann (11^th/276 points), Anna Buettner (16^th/233 points) and O'Nel Venter (17^th/203 points) all suited up in the green and gold for the first time on Sunday, with each finishing in the top 20 individually.
• San Francisco finished in the top three as a team since finishing first overall at the Mt. Shasta Tinman to begin last year on Sept. 1, 2024.
