RENO, Nev. – The University of San Francisco women's indoor track and field team began the 2025-26 season when it competed in the Silver State Invitational on Friday, Dec. 5 – Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
IN CASE YOU MISSED:
- Ten San Francisco student-athletes competed in the season opener, with six making their collegiate indoor debuts.
- Rae Le Fay and Maya Vizina earned first-place finishes in their respective events. Le Fay took the top spot in the mile at 4:58.96, while Vizina set a program record in the 600 meters with a time of 1:30.63.
- Additionally, Lily Bosemark also performed well in her first-ever 600-meter race, finishing third with a time of 1:32.78. In the mile, Kamilla earned a top-five finish by taking second place behind Le Fay, clocking in at 5:05.03.
- The 4x400 team of Bosemark, Vizina, Vanadzina, and Lexi Hallenberg earned a fifth-place finish and set the ninth fastest time in program history in the event at 3:52.52.
