SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference (WCC) announced on Monday morning that
Tyrone Riley IV has been named WCC Freshman of the Week.

For Riley IV, this marks the second time in which he has been named WCC Freshman of the Week after winning the first weekly award of the season on Nov. 11, 2024.

Riley IV continues to be the leading rebounder for San Francisco as the freshman finished with team-highs in both games this week. Helping the Dons to a perfect 2-0 week, Riley IV pulled down nine rebounds in USF's 65-64 victory over Saint Mary's on Thursday, Feb 6 before finishing with eight rebounds in San Francisco's 72-66 win at LMU on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Additionally, the first-year guard added 12 points, 2 steals, 1 assist and 1 block and shot 6-of-7 (85.7 percent) from the free throw line across the two games.

For San Francisco, this honor marks the sixth weekly award this season.
