SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Highlighted by multiple top finishes by the men's and women's programs, the University of San Francisco track and field team competed in the Hornet Invitational this weekend at at Hornet Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Petra Helebrantová finished fourth in the women's 1500-meter race with a time of 4:24.17. Viola Jepkemboi Kosgei followed shortly behind in sixth place at 4:28.67.
- Ethan O'Shea placed fourth in the men's 1500 meters with an impressive time of 3:52.79.
- Competing in his fifth-career men's 3000-steeplechase, Ellis McKean earned a first-place finish with a career-best time of 9:03.26.
- Zach Elam, who ran the 5000-meter race in 14:14.55, was another top-five finisher for the Dons on the men's side.
