DONS AT A GLANCE:
  • San Francisco enters its road contest in Stockton following a dominant 81-70 victory at home over Pepperdine last Saturday. With the win, the Dons moved two games clear of the Waves for sixth place in the West Coast Conference standings.
  • Scoring 20+ points in a game for the ninth time this season, Edokpaigbe recorded a career-best 28 points on 76.9 percent (10-of-13) shooting, missing three total shot attempts. She also led the program at the free-throw line, knocking down six of her seven attempts from the charity stripe.
  • In 17 minutes off the bench, Sol Castro recorded a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double, her first of the season, and shot 57.1 percent (four-for-seven) from the field. Castro's performance marks her fifth-career double-double, with her last coming March 1, 2022, when she posted 16 points and 10 rebounds against Purdue Fort Wayne while playing at Robert Morris.
  • Aina Cargol and Neira recorded 11 points apiece and combined for six of the team's eight three-pointers. Along with her scoring, Cargol added eight assists and six rebounds. Cargol continues to be one of the best passers in the WCC, as she is one of five players averaging four or more assists per game this season.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
  • Pacific has failed to string together wins late in the season, as the program has lost three of its last five games. Despite an impressive 90-82 victory over Santa Clara, one of the top programs in the WCC, Pacific dropped two contests to Gonzaga on February 7 and to Oregon State on February 14.
  • Winner Bartholomew, a sophomore transfer guard from Rider, leads Pacific in scoring through 25 games this season, averaging 13.6 points per game. During conference play, Bartholomew has broken out, ranking 13th in the WCC in scoring at 14.0 points per game. She has registered double-digit points in 11 of the 14 league games, highlighted by a career-best 28 points in the 20-point loss to LMU on January 17.
  • Sydney Ward has been a dominant force on the glass this season, leading the team and ranking sixth in the WCC in rebounding at 6.9 per game. Ward has elevated her game during conference play, securing double-digit rebounds four times and averaging 8.4 per game. Her 15 rebounds at San Francisco on January 24 marked a career-high for the senior forward.
  • Daria Nestorov, in her second season with the program, ranks first on the team and third in the WCC in assists, averaging 5.0 per game. She is one of only three players in the conference averaging five or more assists per game. Despite Nestorov excelling on the court in the passing game, Pacific ranks ninth in the league in assists per game at 13.9.
SERIES HISTORY:
  • San Francisco and Pacific are set to meet for the 55th time in program history, with the Dons holding a 30-24 edge over the Tigers since the first-ever game during the 1976-77 season.
  • In recent history, San Francisco has won nine of the last 13 contests against Pacific, including four straight from February 6, 2021, to January 12, 2023.
  • The green and gold earned the win in the first game of the 2025-26 season, in a narrow 68-61 decision on January 24 at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. Edokpaigbe paced the Dons with 23 points while Cargol and Nataša Taušová added 15 points apiece.
