- Nataša Taušová led the Dons with 15 points, matching her career high while shooting five-for-seven from the field, including three from beyond the three-point line.

SCOUTING THE GAELS:
- In the loss at Santa Clara last Thursday, Feb. 19, Abigail Shoff paced Saint Mary's with 14 points, marking her seventh straight game in double figures. Shoff continues to lead the team in scoring this season, averaging 9.2 points per game.
- Malia Latu made her return to Santa Clara on Thursday night, scoring 12 points and grabbing a game-high seven rebounds off the bench. During her two seasons at Santa Clara, she averaged 7.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Since transferring to Saint Mary's, Latu has been a key contributor off the bench, appearing in 28 games with 19 starts, averaging 6.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per contest.
- In her sophomore campaign at Saint Mary's, Edie Clarke has emerged as a key presence for the Gaels. She leads the team in rebounding (4.9 per game), field goal percentage (.541), three-point percentage (.412), and total blocks (28).
- As a team, Saint Mary's ranks second in the West Coast Conference in steals, averaging 10.4 per game. The Gaels are led defensively by Jada Hunter, who ranks third in the conference with 2.1 steals per game and leads the team with 60 total steals this season.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Saint Mary's leads the all-time series against San Francisco, holding a 50–34 advantage.
- Saint Mary's won the most recent meeting, defeating San Francisco 72-55 on February 7, at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. Mara Neira led the team offensively, scoring a game-high 18 points on 42.9 percent (six-for-14) shooting.
- Prior to that, the Dons had won four consecutive matchups against the Gaels, including an 87–73 home triumph on January 2, 2025.
