- San Francisco enters its road contest in sixth place in the West Coast Conference standings following back-to-back losses to Gonzaga and Oregon State last week. Olivia Williams and Candy Edokpaigbe led the green and gold last Saturday on the road at Oregon State, posting similar stat lines with 13 points and five rebounds.
- Williams reached double-figure scoring for the first time this season as she shot a near-perfect 85.7 percent (six-of-seven) from the field in 22 minutes off the bench. The last time Williams posted double-digit points in a game was on March 6, 2025, when he recorded 10 in 29 minutes against UC Davis while playing UC Irvine.
- Edokpaigbe continues to lead the Dons offensively, averaging a team-best 16.7 points per game on 48.7 percent shooting. Aina Cargol has emerged during conference play, averaging 13.8 points per game and ranking second on the team in double-digit scoring performances with nine.
- As a team, San Francisco ranks sixth in the West Coast Conference in scoring (68.4), fifth in rebounding (39.1), and steals per game (8.8), and third in turnovers forced per game (18.2).
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS:
- Seattle U enters Thursday's contest in the Emerald City in last place in the West Coast Conference standings with a 1-10 league record. The Redhawks' lone conference victory came in a 68-62 decision at home against San Diego on January 8. Facing nearly a month since its last victory, Seattle U is currently on a six-game losing streak with losses to Oregon State, Portland, Santa Clara, Saint Mary's, Pepperdine, and LMU.
- Ella Brubaker leads the team in scoring on the season, ranking sixth in the West Coast Conference at 14.9 points per game while shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 30.3 percent from three. She also ranks first on the team and fifth in the WCC with her 84.3 percent free-throw percentage. In league games, she holds the second-best clip from the charity stripe, shooting 92.1 percent. This season, Brubaker has combined for 30 steals and nine blocks and ranks eighth in the league in points (328).
- Seattle U ranks first in the league in free-throw percentage, holding a 78.9 percent clip from the stripe on the season, eighth best in the nation. The program has five players shooting 70 percent or better from the free-throw line, with at least 25 attempts, led by Sydnie Rodriguez's team-leading 85.7 percent clip.
SERIES HISTORY:
- San Francisco and Seattle U meet for just the fourth time all-time, with the Dons leading the series, 2-1. The Dons are on a two-game winning streak against the Redhawks, dating back to the 2014-15 season.
- The last time the two programs faced off was on November 11, 2016, with San Francisco earning a dominant 73-59 victory at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. Rachel Howard led the green and gold, scoring a game-high 30 points.
