2010 Indoor: Led the Dons in blocking with 0.78 blocks per set… paced USF in blocks in 14 matches… averaged 1.74 kills per set… played in all 27 matches and 97 of the team’s 98 sets… named to Miami Invitational All-Tourament team… hit .368 in USF’s first match of the season at Creighton to total nine kills (8/27)… added five blocks against Kansas (8/28)… smashed a career-high 14 kills on a .375 hitting percentage against Florida International (9/11)… notched three service aces against then No. 10 California (9/17)… hit an impressive .643 with 10 kills against Seattle (9/25)… collected a career-high six digs against Pepperdine (9/30)… totaled 10 kills, five blocks and four digs against Loyola Marymount (10/2)… turned in 10 kills at Portland (10/9)… came up with five blocks against then No. 23 San Diego (10/14)… hit .467 with seven kills against Saint Mary’s (10/16)… posted a career high six blocks to go with 10 kills on a .450 hitting percentage against Gonzaga (11/6)… totaled 11 kills on .474 hitting against Santa Clara (11/19).
2009 Indoor: Averaged 1.03 kills per set, 0.83 blocks per set, totaled 16 digs and 2 assists... appeared in all 27 matches, played in all 105 sets… career-high 10 blocks in Dons’ first-ever win at Pepperdine (10/22)... career-high 12 kills at Portland (11/12)… posted her first career service ace against Missouri State (8/29)… first assist came at San Diego (10/8)… registered another service ace at Loyola Marymount (10/24)… career-high two digs at Santa Clara (10/30)… three blocks against then No. 25 Saint Mary’s (11/5)... registered at least one block and one kill in 26 out of 27 matches.
Prep/Club Career: Played volleyball for John Gannon at Santa Barbara High in Santa Barbara, Cailf... helped lead the Dons to a the Channel League Championship title... advanced to the CIF State Playoffs and a state ranking of seventh... a four-year member of the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club, playing for head coach Liz Towne-Gilbert... won a silver medal in the Club Division at the 2009 Junior Olympics.
Personal: Hadley Rose Simmons... daughter of Tom and Marcy Simmons... born June of 1991... career goal is to continue to improve in every aspect of volleyball in order to become a more well-rounded player... chose USF because she had an aunt living in Sausalito that she always visited during Christmas and fell in love with San Francisco.
