PREP CAREER: A key player in one of the nation’s top programs… helped Federal Way High School to the 2009 4A Washington State Championship… captured 2009-10 The News Tribune’s All-Area Boys Basketball Player of the Year accolades, averaging 22.9 points and 9.0 rebounds as Federal Way posted a 26-3 record… posted five games with 30 or more points as a prep senior under the tutelage of head coach Jerome Collins … averaged 17.5 points on .660 (166-253) from the field to go along with 8.2 rebounds and 56 blocked shots as a junior… turned in a 28-point, 11-rebound double double effort against Walla Walla in the 2009 State Quarterfinals and added 18 points in the 2009 title game against Garfield High School… Eagles posted a runner-up finish in the 2008 State Championships and were third in state in 2010… half-brother Michael Dickerson, played at Arizona and helped the Wildcats to the 1997 NCAA championship.
