Biography

2022-23 (SENIOR AT FLORIDA ATLANTIC) 
  • In the first tournament of the Fall, the Bedford Cup at Fort Myers, Fla., she recorded a two-set win over host FGCU, but then suffered a 6-2, 6-7(7-5), 10-6 loss to FIU and in doubles play she worked with fellow upperclassman Martina Schmidt for  a win over FGCU but they fell to FIU and Stetson
  • At the ITA event at Georgia Tech, she picked up a three-set win over UF in the R-64 and fell to FSU in the R-32 while she and Martina Kudelova fell to Georgia Tech in doubles play
  • In the FIU hidden dual, she split matches with two USF opponents and fel to FIU in singles play, and worked with two different doubles partners, Martina Kudelova and Millie-Mae Matthews and fell in both matches
  • Opened the 2023 dual match season at FGCU versus Miami (Ohio) and teamed with Millie-Mae Matthews for doubles, however, the dual match point was clinched prior to the completion of their match
  • Fell in two sets playing No. 2 singles versus Miami (6-4, 7-6 (7-4))
  • Captured a three set match 6-1, 5-7, 6-3 against UNF and worked with Millie-Mae Matthews in doubles play
  • Bested by Kansas State in both singles and doubles action
  • She and Millie-Mae Matthews dropped their match at the 2023 ITA Kickoff Weekend event, host by Texas A&M, and her singles match versus Texas A&M ended prior to its completion due to the match being clinched
  • Captured her Northern Arizona singles match in a 6-0, 6-4 fashion
  • Doubles match versus Arizona, where she worked with Millie-Mae Matthews, was not finished and she fell in singles play to the host school 7-5, 6-0

  • Worked with Martina Kudelova on doubles court two for a 6-3 win over USF to help the Owls secure the doubles point; then fell in three sets on singles court two
  • She and Millie-Mae Matthews dropped doubles court three versus FGCU and dropped court two singles
  • Fell in matches at Furman and Rice while the team battled the flu as well as opponents
  • Worked with Lexi Silna to capture doubles court one versus South Alabama and her singles match was not completed with the Owls' clinching the match
  • She and Silna capture doubles court one with a 6-2 win over LIU and she then captured court one singles in straight sets
  • Teamed with Amber McGinnis on court three for a Kennesaw State match that fell unfinished and then help the Owls win 4-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 on singles court two
  • Doubles court three match was not completed and she fell 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 on court three versus Colorado State
  • Did not complete her doubles match versus VCU, but dominated singles play 6-0, 6-1
  • Shutout doubles 6-0 over Wichita State and earned a three-set win, 6-0, 3-6, 10-4, on singles court two
  • Dominance again on doubles court three over Columbia and then captured court two with a 6-2, 6-4 win
  • C-USA Championship match fell unfinished with the match already decided and she and Lexi Silna fell in double play on court three
2021-22 (JUNIOR AT FLORIDA ATLANTIC) 
  • Opened her 2022 season by teaming with Martina Kudelova for court 1 doubles; however, FAU clinched the doubles point point versus Middle Tennessee prior to the conclusion of their match. She then captured her court two singles match in straight sets at 6-3, 6-0
  • Versus Georgia State, she grabbed her first doubles victory of the season and quickly won, 6-2, 6-1 to give FAU the court two singles win
  • Closed out the FGCU Invite versus Minnesota, by capturing both the doubles and singles matches
  • Filip secured one of the two points scored versus perennial power Miami with a 6-4, 6-4 win, but saw her doubles match go unfinished
  • Versus the defending national champions and No. 1 ranked team, Texas, her court two singles match saw the first set decided by a tiebreaker and ultimately her match was ended prior to completion after the match was clinched by Texas
  • Fell victim at both doubles and singles to Rice, at the ITA Kickoff Classic
  • Captured a hard-fought match versus FGCU with a 6-4, 6-4 win, on court two, following a doubles match that was unfinished
  • Picked up a three-set win over Wichita State, following an unfinished doubles contest
  • Neither match at Kansas State was completed. Her singles match was pushed to the third set before being called
  • Doubles match versus UNF was not completed prior to the point going to the Osprey and then she marched to a 6-4, 6-1 win helping the Owls take the match 5-2
  • Played a big factor in the Owls picking up the 4-3 win over Missouri with two wins, first with a 6-1 win in doubles play, on court one, and then with a three-set win on singles court two
  • Both matches, singles and doubles, versus South Alabama were not completed due to the point or match being clinched
  • She and Kudelova defeated the No. 1 Temple doubles' duo 6-2 to help earn the point for the Owls and she was up 6-2, 2-2 prior to the match being halted with the match being clinched
  • Worked with Kudelova to defeat Butler 6-0, contributing to the doubles point and then she captured her singles match 6-3, 6-2 to secure a second point and ultimately 7-0 team win
  • She and her doubles partner captured the VCU match 6-3 and Filip went on to capture her singles match 6-4, 6-0
  • Continued winning ways with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Houston, the only point the Owls recorded, and her doubles match was not finished, tied at 4-4 when the point was clinched
  • Won her singles match over Boston 6-2, 6-1, which followed an unfinished doubles match, to help the Owls cruise to a 5-2 win
  • Despite a tight match, she earned one of FAU's three points with a 6-0, 6-1 win on court two versus Yale, after falling in doubles 6-4
  • Played on singles court one for the first time in 2022, but saw both doubles and singles play ending prior to the UCF matches' conclusion
  • Battled on doubles partner Kudelvoa on court one to win their match 7-6 (9-7)  and when combined with an FAU win on court two the Owls earned the match's first point. She then won her court two match 7-6, 6-3 to help the Owls defeat Brown, 4-3
  • Fell in singles play at FIU and her doubles match was tied at 3-3 when the point was clinched by the Panthers
  • At USF, she won on court two 7-5, 6-1, but fell in doubles play
  • At the 2022 C-USA Championship, her day one matches were not completed prior to the Owls clinching the match. On day two versus Rice, she and Kudelova fell in doubles play and her singles match was not completed 
  • Was 13-4 on the season
  • Recorded 10 wins without a loss between Feb. 4 and March 30 and was instrumental in FAU going 9-5 in the same span
  • Recognized by C-USA as a First Team All-Conference selection
2020-21 (SOPHOMORE AT FLORIDA ATLANTIC) 
  • Joined the team in January of 2021
  • Opened the 2021 season for the Owls on court No. 4 where she forced a tie-breaking third set versus Miami, but was defeated 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 1-0 (10-4)
  • Captured 2-of-3 doubles matches on the three match road trip to Las Vegas, with wins over UNLV and UTSA, but was not able to close out hard fought singles matches before the Owls had clinched the match
  • Worked at No. 3 singles versus FSU where she fell 6-1, 6-0. She and Radka Buzkova teamed at No. 1 doubles but their match was unfinished with the point being decided in FSU's favor
  • Was the first to come off the court with a 6-0, 6-2 win over FGCU, on court No. 3, to lead FAU to a 6-1 win over FGCU. Suffered a loss 7-5 loss on the No. 2 doubles court
  • Worked with Radka Buzkova on court No. 2 to defeat UNF 6-2 and then took her singles match on court No. 3 to three sets before falling 5-7, 6-4, 6-2
  • She and Radka Buzkova captured No. 2 doubles, however the team surrendered the doubles point and fell to UCF's opponent, who was ranked No. 95 nationally
  • Combined with Radka Buzkova in a win by forfeit over FAMU and won her No. 4 singles match in straight sets 6-1, 6-0
  • Worked with Natalie Kallmunzerova on doubles court No. 1 to secure a 6-1 win over USF and then proved victorious on court No. 5, in straight sets
  • Teamed with Natalie Kallmunzerova on court No. 1 for a 6-1 win over USF and fell on singles court three
  • Again, combined efforts with Natalie Kallmunzerova on court No. 2, but fell to UNF and then captured her match in two sets on court No. 5 to even the match at one to help the Owls to a 4-3 win
  • Fell on doubles court No. 3 to JMU, while working with May Kimhi, and then captured the first set on court No. 5 before eventually falling in three
  • Worked with May Kimhi on court No. 3 and pushed it but fell 7-5. She then won the final two sets on court No. 5 singles play to help the Owls upset No. 47 Charlotte
  • Worked with May Kimhi in a court No. 2 match versus Miami, but the duo fell 6-2 and then moved to court No. 5 where she was the lone Owl to capture her match with a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7)
  • She and May Kimhi captured their first doubles match versus North Texas at the Conference USA Championships winning 7-6 (7-5) but singles play was not finished due to the match being clinched. On day two versus Charlotte, the duo dropped their doubles match and once again her singles match was not completed with the match already determined. Day three was a similar scenario with the duo dropping doubles and her match, in the third set, was stopped
  • Received second team Conference USA honors 
  • Earned a spot on the FAU Athletic 3.0 honor roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA and a spot on the President's List
2019-20 (FRESHMAN AT LMU)
  • Posted a 2-2 singles record as a true freshman, playing each of her four matches on court No. 4.
  • Was also part of the No. 1 doubles team that tallied a 2-4 record.
