HIGH SCHOOL

• He was a three-time letter winner at Menlo-Atherton for head coach Leo Krupnik and the Bears. 
• Earned all-league honors his sophomore and junior season.
• He started 52 matches as a prep and had a habit for making clutch stops, recording seven saves on penalty kicks his sophomore year alone – three coming in the first round of the Central Coast Section playoffs. 
• He finished his final season playing for Menlo-Atherton with 106 saves and posted a 0.31 goals against average while tallying eight clean sheets.
• The Bears advanced to the CCS playoffs all three years McKay was in net.
• On the club level, McKay played for two excellent programs for over five years.
• He started with the De Anza Force Academy from 2015-19.
• During that time, he finished with an undefeated season and tallied six shutouts and surrendered just three goals.
• Last year, he played for coach Hugo Perez at the Silicon Valley Soccer Academy.
